Andreas Dreitz

If you’re looking for Andreas, you most probably will find him at the finisher buffet.

While talking to Andreas, you’ll quickly notice: this guy loves what he’s doing. To him, Triathlon means pure passion. “It’s not just about the sport itself. It’s about the crazy people you meet, the amazing atmosphere, the beautiful lakesides, the blocked roads you get to race on and last but not least about the finisher buffet”, tells the guy who hates riding in the slipstream.

Andy always wears his wide and beautiful smile on his face, no matter how hard the race was. His passion and joy of racing helped him to become one of the youngest and most promising athletes in the long distance field with a high potential to get that World Champion title. And everything looks promising: 2013, Andy finished 7th in a strong field at the Ironman 70.3 Championship in Wiesbaden and ran to the top of the podium at the prestigious City Triathlon Heilbronn. 2014 he has taken the next step and became a professional triathlete. He demonstrated his qualities by winning the Fuerteventura Challenge and right away the IM 70.3 Mallorca.

“Running in On shoes was a simple decision. I wanted to be capable of training and racing hard without injuries. It took me a while until I found what I was looking for. On is the perfect partner for me and I am looking forward to many more running hors in my Cloudracers!”.
