On-Athletes success at Xterra World Championships

Three podium appearances for On in Maui, Hawaii.

Last weekend, four On athletes got very good results at the Xterra World Championships in Maui, Hawaii. Xterra World Champion 2012 from Scottland, Lesley Paterson, completed a very successful season winning the second place at the World Championships in Maui. On the last meters she established herself as the vice World Champion with a sprint on her Cloudracers and a five second lead over the third finisher. The British On-athlete Jacqui Slack only ran in Maui for the second time and raced to a solid ninth place. In the men's race, Asa Shaw from England reached the finish line second with the On Cloudracer on his feet. Very closely behind him, the Australian Ben Allen finished the race and got bronze also with the Cloudracer.

For Ben it is the best to stand on podium at the Xterra World Championships. He trained very hard and is convinced that his On Cloudracers are a part of this big success:

"On provides me with the confidence to believe the unbelievable and pushes my capabilities beyond anything I thought was humanly possible. I’ve run fast, further & accomplished more since running in my On’s, than I thought I would ever be capable of…I just love to run on clouds", says Ben.

On congratulates Lesley Paterson, Jacqui Slack, Ben Allen and Asa Shaw to the successful race. We are proud to have such great athletes in our On family!
