Dream comeback for Nicola Spirig // TeamTBB rocks!

Nicola Spirig wins her first competitions and teamTBB athletes get more wins and podiums.

It was Nicola Spirigs first triathlon since the Olympic Games in London a year ago. And it could not have worket out better for the Olympic champion. She won the triathlon in a time of 2:08 with just under 7 minutes ahead of the runner-up. Nicola was accordingly satisfied: "It is obviously something special to complete the comeback in the Olympic capital. I had spent a few days in the area, in Leysin, and trained."

A couple of days earlier, the world's fastest triathlete won the 3000 meter run in Langenthal. Next up is the triathlon of Locarno next Sunday, the half-marathon at the Greifenseelauf mid-September and the Triathlon World Cup in Mexico. It's Nicolas first international endurance test after the break.

Also in Leysin trained the teamTBB this summer. First team members have flown to a training camp in Mexico to prepare for the World Championships in Kona. Others have taken on the way to the training camp a stopover in Canada and participated in the Challenge Penticton. As in the past few weeks teamTBB athletes are on the podium also in this competition: Carrie Lester wins in the women's field and Scott DeFilippis finishes second in the men with the fastest run of the day. Dan McIntosh finishes third.

Congratulations to all On athletes on these fantastic results.
