Another perfect race
On athlete Caroline Steffen is hungry to repeat her victory at the Asian Pacific Ironman Championship in Melbourne this Sunday.
Last year the Ironman Melbourne was Carolines first big race in the On Cloudracers and they sure were the perfect fit: Xena won the Asian Pacific Ironman Championship with a dominating victory, missing the world record by a mere 50 seconds. "It was the perfect race", says Caroline, "I finally could show the world that I can run! Thanks to the Cloudracer, my legs actually felt better at the finish than at the beginning of the run." The only regret? "Had I known how fast that I was running, I would not have taken a pee break before crossing the finish line." Missed it? Watch our video of the perfect race Read more about Caroline Steffen More about the On Cloudracer Xena will be joined at this stacked race by her teamTBB colleagues Carrie Lester who grabbed a top ten finish last year as well as Scott DeFilippis and Per Bittner backing up from their races at Ironman New Zealand. This is a unique Ironman race that promises a star-studded stacked field again this year as it did in its inaugural edition last year. The race will start with a two loop swim in the bay of Frankston move to an undulating, windy bike course on the highway, and finish with a windy rolling run course from Frankstown to Melbourne St. Kilda. Best of luck to all On athletes!
