Hijacking the Surfshack
The IRONMAN challenge was first launched back in February 18, 1978 by Honolulu-based Navy couple Judy and John Collins in Hawai'i, where the three toughest endurance races (swimming, biking and running) are combined into one tough event. By 1981, the race moved from its place of origin, the shores of Waikiki, to the barren lava fields of Kona.
Kicking off the 35th IRONMAN World Championship in Hawai'i this year, On will be setting up shop and hijacking the local surfshack at Hypr Nalu Surfshop from October 7 to 13. During the week, all those attending the event can enjoy a non-alcoholic happy hour cocktail and chill music at our surfshack lounge while discovering the perfect On shoe at our testing zone.
